The U.N. has been in a lot of hot water lately:

The Oil-for-Food Scandal has revealed that the United Nations stole millions from the Iraqi people, leading to countless deaths from malnutrition and lack of medicine. The U.N. also allowed Saddam Hussein to use those funds to pay the families of Palestinian suicide bombers $25,000 each for bombings which maimed and murdered thousands, including 53 Americans.

The UNRWA, the U.N. refugee agency created especially for the Palestinians, also funds Palestinian schools and disavows any responsibility for the content of the curriculum -- a course of study which has raised a generation to believe that Israel does not exist, the Holocaust never occurred, and that Jews are "monkeys and pigs" worthy only of mass slaughter.

UNRWA also knowingly employes members of Hamas. The UNRWA directer, Peter Hansen, was quoted by Canada's CBC television on 3 October 2004 as saying "I am sure that there are Hamas members on the UNRWA payroll and I don't see that as a crime." Hamas is listed with the U.S. and E.U. as a terrorist organization, and has claimed responsibility for countless terrorist attacks.

U.N. ambulances have also frequently been used to transport terrorists, their weapons, and even suicide bombers (including the first female suicide bomber, who struck in Jerusalem).

The U.N. International Court at the Hague also recently ruled that Israel was violating international law by building a security barrier (which has reduced suicide bombing casualties by 88%) to save lives, citing the "inconvenience" the barrier poses to Palestinians. Obviously, it is the U.N.'s position that Israeli lives are worth less than Palestinians living conveniently.

The U.N. has endorsed the ethnic cleansing of Jews from land coveted by the oil-rich Arabs for yet another Palestinian state.

The U.S. alone pays about 24% of the UN's budget. U.S. taxpayers should not have to pay for a racist, terrorism-sponsoring organization run WITHOUT OVERSIGHT by deposts and dictators, who continually condemn the U.S. and other free socities.
